Come on Carlton!!

Carlton still struggles under his point system. The pediatric psychiatrist on Tuesday was very realistic with him about his anger. We told the Dr about Carlton kicking in the steel door in a fit of anger. Dr Golden stressed to Carlton that EACH action was very serious at this point. That Carlton had worked himself into a corner through bad behavior and he had no room for error. He told Carlton had he broken down the door anywhere but our home he would likely be in juvie. I thought Carlton understood! Wednesday afternoon Sarah brought the boys home, they were all angry. Apparently standing outside while waiting for Sarah, Jacob and John had others come to them and tell them that Carlton was about to fight/ John went and grabbed Carlton by the arm and pulled him away. (Thank you John!!) Carlton was not happy at John, shoving and acting ugly. Upon arriving home he said he was not fighting that he and the boy were just friends (not so...he could not even think of the boys name when first asked!). Scott heard about it at work, the boys at school and shoving IS fighting! At least by the guidelines of our school. The other boy was smaller and had teachers become involved he would have been back in court!

Terrible to have this lapse in judgement a DAY after our serious talk!

Then, yesterday he was sweeping in the kitchen as Sam and Zack were doing write offs. Carlton was pushing on Sam's stool with the broom. Sam pushed over a bar stool which landed on Carlton's foot. Carlton picked up a bar stool and hit Sam with it. Can you believe that Carlton said it was ALL SAMS FAULT~ Our "no fault" words slipping out. I sent Carlton to the room to fill out an anger log....Carlton kicked and yelled and raged all the way there.

Again....this lapse in judgement!!!!

It makes me want to simply say....COME ON Carlton!! Get your act together!

He feels that his point system is impossible to attain!! please! Out of a possible 40 points he must have 30 points on 3 out of 5 days (Mon-Fri). Impossible? Hardly!
