Sad choices

In the midst of my week of "playing" there were several "sad" moments for some of my children. I feel I am a very "fair" person. I always give warnings, there is always opportunity to correct behavior. But when someone chooses to disobey, there are (duh...of course) consequences! The picture of Zack above is at Chuckie Cheese, not getting to play. My choice is that everyone go have a good time!

I sure hope that my children all learn that every action has consequences. I hope they learn this as children! Learn and take head:)

Chuckie Cheese

My friend Trish and her three kiddos went to Chuckie Cheese yesterday. The kids had a great time! Trish and I did too. We got a cardiavascular (sp?) workout playing basketball:) Trish is much better than I am...lol...but we did have fun! I took a picture of Trish to add to my Chuckie Cheese pictures....but I am certain she deleted it! lol...Next time I will not let her see my camera!

We spent a two days in Murfreesboro this past week. My kids love to play at Grannie and Pa's! These were taken in the yard at thier house:)

Granny's Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated my Grandmother's Birthday at the nursing home. My little ones and I went and took cake and icecream. My father was there and we had a nice time. Granny's health is fair now. I am so thankful her mind is so good. She is a wonderful lady!

Spring Break

This is the end of our Spring Break. My biggies: Sarah, Joseph, Caleb, Jacob and John have all spent the week working on Katrina clean-up in Long Beach Mississippi. They will be home tomorrow, I am anxious to see pictures and hear stories of thier work.

The little kids and I have traveled a little. We spent two days in Murfreesboro at Scott's parents. We had a nice trip, which included eating out at O'Charley's thier favorite place. We played at the neat park there and visited with Granny and Pa! We ended our Murfreesboro adventure by going to Build A Bear.....everyone built and loves thier bears(and dogs and bunnies)!

Scott has been in Mississippi at his big show. He has had a great week and will be home this evening!

Stuart was my only biggie home this week. He bought a car and has to work...lol...such is grown-up life and grown-up responsibility! He did get to go shopping one day and play endless X-box:)

Chelsea will be home this weekend. Her friends Emily and Ben are having two showers for thier upcoming wedding. Chelsea is a bridesmaid and part of the "showering".

Long Absence

How do I begin after such a long absence? I was truly "blogged down"...lol... We have in the last month had a lot of "little" things that became seemingly endless. I know other people have the same issue! Samuel broke his hand and had to have surgery to repair it. Daniel broke his arm. The second and third broken body parts we have ever had....and in a one week period of time. Samuel is currently without a cast, but still on no exercise and Daniel is scheduled to have his cast removed on this Monday.
