Happy 16th Birthday Joseph!!!

Today is Joseph's 16th birthday!! WOW! Hard to believe how much he has grown....physically, mentally and spiritually!! He is a great guy:) I love birthday pictures! We did not cut the cake. Joseph's favorite meal is steak and we grilled and had french fries and soda until no one could think of eating cake...lol. Joseph decided we could have it for breakfast tomorrow...a big chocolate kickstart for my bunch:)

A "smotherman family" quirk with birthdays is the VERY LOUD singing (more screaming) of Happy Birthday! In one picture Joseph is trying to plug his ears. It is actually a very positive sign to have your song be REALLY loud....much like have a standing ovation...only with our singing your ears just ring for the next 30 minutes!!
